The Society of Tourism Practitioners – STPN – welcomes Enugu visitors as NAFEST 2025 opens in the Coal City.
Visitors, delegates and performers prepare to arrive in Enugu for the 2025 National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFEST). The event opens this Saturday, 22 November 2025 in Enugu.
STPN President Chief Mike Mgboh said the festival offers exciting opportunity for culture lovers to experience the city’s rich heritage. “They will meet our traditional warm hospitality and creative energy,” he assured.
Mgboh assured participants that Enugu is fully prepared to host a memorable national gathering, with improved infrastructure, enhanced security, and a line-up of artistic and cultural displays curated to showcase the best of the Coal City.
He praised the Enugu State Government and the Local Organising Committee for “raising the bar” in festival preparation.
“Their efforts reflect a clear commitment to tourism growth and cultural promotion,” he said.
According to him, the festival will not only celebrate creativity but also stimulate the local economy and support artisans, performers, vendors and small businesses that depend on visitor traffic.
Mgboh encouraged visitors to explore Enugu’s attractions, including its museums, craft markets, culinary hotspots, historic monuments and vibrant nightlife.
He expressed confidence that NAFEST 2025 will “forge new partnerships, inspire creativity and strengthen national unity through culture.”
